Tourism Rockingham (trading as the Rockingham Visitor Centre) Terms & Conditions

  1. The Rockingham Visitor Centre (RVC) acts as the non-exclusive agent for the supply of
    goods and/or services by its members.
  2. By making your booking you acknowledge and agree that the RVC is acting as the agent
    for the supplier of the goods or services and that any dispute which you may have in
    relation to that booking shall be directed to the supplier and not to the RVC.
  3. The RVC warrants that it is authorised to make bookings and to receive moneys and
    other deposits on behalf of its members.
  4. It remains the responsibility of every person making a booking through the RVC to verify
    for himself or herself the accuracy of the information provided by the RVC on behalf of its

Prices and Booking Conditions

  1. Persons wishing to book accommodation must be 18 years or older.
  2. The RVC receives a commission directly from the requested property or operator and
    books accommodation and services on behalf of our clients.
  3. Prices and conditions are current at the time of publication on our website but are subject
    to change without notice. All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST where


  1. Full payment must be made at the time of booking. A booking confirmation will be
    emailed to you itemising charges made to your credit card.
  2. Once credit card details are processed, relevant documentation and a booking
    confirmation will be issued.
  3. Full terms and conditions of the booking will also be provided relating to cancellation and
    amendment fees from the RVC and individual supplier.
  4. Full contact details must be provided at time of booking, including email and mobile
    number by which you can be reached by the RVC.


  1. A cash bond of $500 or bond held on a credit card will be required by the RVC at the
    time of check-in/booking.
  2. Bonds or credit card details may be required by service providers. If requested, bonds
    must be paid in accordance with the service provider’s specific conditions.
  3. Bond forms must be completed at time of confirmation and in advance of stay
    commencement date.


  1. You will be asked to provide photo identification to the RVC or service provider at the
    time of check in. Passports or drivers’ licence are acceptable.

Refund, Amendment and Cancellation Conditions

  1. In the event of an amendment to a confirmed booking, an administration fee of $25.00
    will apply. An additional amendment fee with the property or operator may also apply to
    the purchaser depending on the individual policies of the property or operator concerned.
  2. In the event of cancellation to a confirmed booking made by the RVC you may receive a
    refund. An administration fee of $25.00 will apply. A cancellation fee with the property or
    operator may also apply depending on the individual policies of the property or operator

Cancellations relating to Covid 19

  1. Where a customer cancels due to Government restrictions relating to Covid 19 that are
    either not removed as expected, extended, or reimposed, the cancellation or Covid
    policies of the individual supplier will apply. If a full refund is received, the RVC reserves
    the right to withhold some monies to cover administrative expenses and other losses,
    dependent on when notice of cancellation is given by the customer. Travel Insurance is
    strongly recommended to protect against unforeseen circumstances.


  1. The accommodations offered will vary from one service provider to another therefore it is
    the responsibility of the customer to ensure any property booked is suitable for their
  2. The accommodations offered are the responsibility of the individual supplier and no
    guarantee for the type or quality of products and services advertised is offered or inferred
    by the RVC.
  3. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information on our website, no
    responsibility can be accepted by the RVC for any changes, errors or omissions to the
    information included.
  4. No responsibility can be accepted for any loss or inconvenience caused directly or
    indirectly from the use of the Visit Rockingham website or the purchase of products and
    services available on the website.
  5. While accommodation or other bookings are made by the RVC with individual properties
    and operators on the basis that such accommodation or services for the required dates
    is available at the time the booking is made, the RVC is not responsible for any
    overbooking which has been made by individual properties or operators.
