Point Peron is surrounded by Shoalwater Islands Marine Park and home to the Cape Peron Loop Trail, perfect for bushwalking. The beaches are ideal for safe swimming, snorkelling, paddling and exploring small bays and rocky outcrops. In the mornings till noon, enjoy a cupcake and coffee from Vanilla Sprinkles – and in the late afternoon, catch the sunset over the ocean.
When visiting Point Peron, be sure to look out for the birdlife and the World War II gun lookout. There are also boat launching facilities available – spend a day cruising the waters here and you’re likely to spot friendly dolphins!
