Grab your favourite teddy, pack a healthy picnic and join the Rockingham Early Years Group for the annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
There will be face painting, games, rhyme time, an animal farm, performances, and a visit from Widi, the Paint Rockingham REaD mascot. There will also be interactive, informative stalls from a range of early years services.
Stage entertainment:
- 10am – Welcome to Country
- 10.10am – Sing along and story time
- 10.30am – Boorloo Aboriginal Cultural Performance
- 11am – Nursery rhymes, sing along and story time
A sensory zone will also be available for children and families to use throughout the event. This space will include sensory resources and equipment to support children and their parents/carers.
Transperth bus stop 17304, located on Read Street after Gnangara Drive, is just a short 10-minute walk to Fantasy Park. We encourage those attending to take public transport if possible. Limited parking is available at Fantasy Park. Parking attendants will be onsite to assist.
