NAIDOC Week Celebrations

NAIDOC Week is held in the first week of July each year to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

This year the City is partnering with Stocklands Baldivis to involve the community in celebrating NAIDOC Week.

Come along to enjoy a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony by a local Elder, story time by a local Elder, cultural dance performances, basket weaving workshop, community art project, and drop by to say hello to Noongar Radio who will be broadcasting live on the day outside Mary Davies Library and Community Centre.

Wednesday 5 July 2023 10am-1pm at Stocklands Baldivis. The official opening commences at 10am in the Town Square, outside Mary Davies Library and Community Centre.
