Libby Hammer has been performing professionally since she was a child, and without giving away her very youthful age, that’s over forty years of performance experience. She is best-known to Perth audiences as a jazz singer – one of Perth’s finest – and those who have followed her career will know that she is also a composer, a bandleader and an in-demand vocal coach. Only stalker-type fans will know that she is also a stilt-walker and ukulele-playing novelty costume performer.
Tonight Libby performs in solo mode, and will share renditions of a variety of repertoire, from her favourite childhood songs, to songs she has written herself and of course, the jazz music that has made up much of her career so far. Libby will also share a few stories from her journey so far – sometimes poignant, sometimes funny, and hopefully always relatable. Come and join us for a unique and exclusive concert-slash-chitchat in this intimate setting.
Saturday 19 November 7pm. Wine and Snacks included.
