The Safety Bay Windsurfing Club (est. 2024) aims to get people from Rockingham, Safety Bay, Waikiki, Port Kennedy, Shoalwater, Warnbro, and surrounding suburbs into windsurfing by providing introductions into the sport, courses, and windsurf lessons.

We have all the required beginner equipment available for our club members to learn how to windsurf in Safety Bay and progress in this fascinating sport. Whether you would like to cruise the beautiful waters of Safety Bay, Shoalwater, or blast to Penguin Island, there is something exciting for everyone. Spend the warm WA summers on the water and make the most out of our consistent seabreeze! There is nothing more fun than racing your kids on the water or exploring the bay with your mates.

Windsurfing is suitable for any age and gender as long as you are water confident. When acknowledging a few basic rules and the weather, it is a very safe sport and does not require physical strength. We have the right, modern equipment for everyone to guarantee fun on the water!

The experienced windsurfing instructors are Australian Sailing qualified and the club provides insurance to members for peace of mind.
