Don’t let the cooler weather stop you from hitting the water! Perth Wake Park, just a short drive from Rockingham, offers wakeboarding fun for all skill levels. WA’s only cable wake park offers up world class obstacles, two beginner specific cables, a bar and café, plus a pro shop. Never experienced the thrill of wakeboarding? Instructors take learners (anyone aged 6 years old and up) through the beginner’s course – you’ll be standing up and conquering the courses in no time.

Nature-packed Rockingham
Point Peron + Vanilla Sprinkles Coffee Van
Point Peron is a nature lover’s paradise. The rugged coastline and beautiful beaches are perfect for exploring. The 2.4km Cape Peron Loop Trail takes you along rugged limestone cliffs, where you’ll spy Garden Island, WWII guns and bunkers, and maybe even a dolphin. After a brisk walk, warm up with a hot coffee and fresh bake from the retro Vanilla Sprinkles Coffee Van. This local favourite is parked up most days at the Point Peron car park and owner Lauren creates the dreamiest cupcakes. The combo of a stunning coastal walk and delicious cake makes for the perfect guilt free treat.

Spot a ‘roo or two at Baldivis Children’s Forest! This 20-hectare site at the Outridge Swamp Wetland, is designed for children to explore and get curious about nature. The forest is also a great spot for a picnic, so pack a lunch to enjoy being out in the fresh air.
